Goal of IFS
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a type of mental health counseling that focuses on the "internal family" of a person. This approach views the mind as a system of different parts, each with its own unique characteristics and functions.
The goal of IFS therapy is to help individuals identify and understand their different parts, healing the wounds they hold, and moving towards greater integration (collaboration of parts as a cohesive whole). This process can lead to improved emotional regulation, increased self-awareness, and a greater sense of inner peace.
The 8 C's of IFS
The outcome of the therapeutic IFS process is that you are freed to live more fully from the 8 C's of your core Self: compassion, curiosity, clarity, creativity, calmness, confidence, courage, and connectedness.

Compassion
Curiosity
Clarity
Feeling and being kind towards ourself, especially when we encounter difficult feelings.
Being open to new possibilities; bringing curiosity rather than judgment towards ourselves and others.
Seeing things for what they are, and having a vision for our future.

Creativity
Using imagination to produce original ideas and freely express ourselves.
